Just a note to say a huge thank you for the warm welcome on Saturday night. Can you please pass on my gratitude to Dick and all members of the committee.I hope you are happy with the outcome after all your hard work, I thought that the atmosphere was very special.Sian James and Gwyn Jones
Long live the festival!
Regards
The weather was cracking in the end, despite gloomier predictions until really near the festival ... Big thanks to the organisers for all their hard work with trackways, wood etc, to minimise the impact of the earlier heavy rain ... Wonderful communal fire under that tree!! ... The emphasis given to making everything bilingual and encouraging non Welsh speakers to try out a few Welsh sentences at the bar was a very good touch, my sister (fluent Welsh speaker and teacher, and former, erm, 'activist' back in the day) would approve! Even my very limited Welsh from primary school years long ago, could understand odd words here and there, and the barpeople on Sunday were very helpful ;never had time for the Welsh lesson though! ... overall we had a fantastic time. Such a shame it came to an end so quickly.William of Walworth
...Maryam Kouyate
They had a wonderful time, and couldn't say enough good things about the festival! I hope you were happy with the concert and with everything. Thanks so much for giving us this wonderful opportunity! We appreciate it very much
...
Thanks again, Dick and your festival truly deserves all the acclaim possible! N'faly sends his thanks too, as well as everyone in Dunyakan!
.What a brilliant, wicked weekend!! We got home this afternoon. All chilled and friendly.....great music and atmosphere! Thanks to all involved! Can't wait for next year!Jamjack

It was a wonderful audience too, we had a great time, and had lots of positive feedback from festival-goers. And the weather held up for us all, which you must have been heartily relieved at!! I did wonder whether you were in the crowds somewhere or were staying sane back in mission control somewhere! Do thank Tegwyn for letting us change and warm up in his living room - it was extremely useful and I'm very glad he enjoyed the warm-ups!
I loved some of the other acts too - N'Faly Kouyate, Carmen Souza and a wonderful duo singing Welsh and Breton music whose name I cannot remember - do tell me if you can! It was a delightful atmosphere generally too. I do hope it was a success for you, organisationally/financially.
Hope you have a restful rest of summer!
Best wishes

I really loved your festival, we had a fantastic time and it had a great atmosphere, brilliant time was had by all
The Bedouin Jerry Can Band from the Sinai Desert in Egypt proved a superb curtain raiser, getting the hafla atmosphere from the very first beat and everyone was on the floor dancing. This is a great live band and I think they have several dates around the UK so treat yourself if they are in your neck of the woods.More from grumpy
What a great festival! This was my first time and we had loads of fun.The music was excellent, even if it finished a little early and theweather could not have been better.Eleri Davies

Good work to combat the wet seemed very successful.
Hi Guys,Clare and her little lad Kieran, from Formby, Liverpool
I just want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this years festival! It was my first time to this particular festival and thought it was fantastic. Even though the weather wasn't the best the 'under canvass' stages gave fantastic respite from the rain.
I camped for the whole weekend and thought that the facilities were marvellous, everything I needed was provided for. Even the toilets remained pretty clean!
I will certainly be returning next year and with a larger crew, as I have now got all my friends interested in coming too. Thanks heaps

Dear festival organizers,Bhakti Vedanta
I just wanted to send a huge thank you from myself and all my friends and family who made the special trip up to Cilycwm for the Small Nations festival two weekends back. I have never atended such a great fest filled with so much diversity yet still maintain a common theme with all the diverse artists on the line-up.
I have to make a special note to say that the South African guitarist and sitar player you booked, Guy Buttery, stole the show for the ENTIRE festival for me, all my friends and family, and everyone else in that tent that afternoon I'm sure. It was just an incredible experience and it was great to see he did so well with all his CD sales too. I have yet to hear a guitarist of such quality and passion.
Thanks again to everyone at Small Nations. I look forward to next year {and hopefully to seeing Guy again if he is on tour at that stage}. We will be there!
What a great time my friends and i had at this years festival, Rain could not dampen spirits, I have got to say everyone else but burt were truly amazing, what a great way to open a festival.
Does anyone share our thoughts on this? can we see them again next year?? PLEASE!

Hi there!J & I
I came with my partner this year and just want to say I have some great photos of the festival but I'm not sure how to e-mail them to you! I bought a ticket but worked all weekend with my partner and would very much like to be an official steward with him next year.
Please keep me on your mailing list and thank you for the most fantastic weekend despite the mud!! Thank god for pressure hoses they cleaned up my jeans and boots a treat, you would never know what a state they were in !!!
thank you once more for a wonderful time and all the hard work you must have put in to make it such a memorable weekend.
Just wanted to thank everyone involved in organising and running it this year. So far its the best weekend i've had all year. Also thanks to the purple haired lady who moved my child to stop him being ran over when i went back to rescue the buggy in the mud, its seemingly small things like this which mean so much that make this festival for me. The mix of music and people is hard to beat.
Malgré le crachin marin et celtique au miheu du pays de galles le choix de musique nous a rechauffé le coeur. La gadone ne nous a pas empêché d’apprecier de très bons musiciens. `A l’an prochainAndré, Paris.
Hi there, i hope the farm is back in one piece after the hedonistic weekend you guys put on, i must say that after going to some of the major festivals there is something really special about your's. the location, the music and most of all the people! what a melting pot of culture, very very special. i was there on the saturday night and had an awesome time, awoke on sunday with yeah just a bit of a hangover and had to perform (i play the caixa) with samba tawe, that late afternoon, felt like death warmed up but once the band were all together and the atmosphere electrified i could think of nothing other than the goose pimples dancing all over me, it was for me the best gig i have played with samba tawe and by the crowds reaction i think its the best gig the whole band and dancers have!
